Dua after waking up || All Duas with English Transliteration and Translation

 Assalamualaikum my brothers and sisters in this post we are going to tell you all the duas which we should read after waking up from sleep either in the morning or at night.

1. Dua when waking up in morning

Arabic-

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا، وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُوْرُ 

English Transliteration-

Alhamdu lillaahil-lathee 'ahyaanaa ba'da maa 'amaatanaa wa'ilayhin-nushoor.

English Translation-

All praise is for Allaah who gave us life after having taken it from us and unto Him is the resurrection.

2.Dua when waking up in morning

Arabic-

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ عَافَانِيْ فِيْ جَسَدِي، وَرَدَّ عَلَيَّ رُوْحِي، وَأَذِنَ لِيْ بِذِكْرِهِ 

English Transliteration-

Alhamdu lillaahil-lathee 'aafaanee fee jasadee, wa radda 'alayya roohee, wa 'athina lee bithikrihi.

English Translation-

Praise is to Allah Who gave strength to my body and returned my soul to me and permitted me to remember Him.

3. Dua when waking up at night

Arabic-

لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللّٰهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيْكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ، سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ، وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللّٰهُ، وَاللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ، وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللّٰهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيْمِ، رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِيْ 

English Transliteration-

Laa 'illaha 'illallahu wahdahu la shareeka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa 'alaa kulli shay'in Qadeer Subhaanallahi, walhamdu lillaahi, wa laa 'ilaha 'illallahu, wallaahu 'akbar, wa laa hawla wa laa Quwwata 'illaa billaahil-'Aliyyil-'Adheem, Rabbighfir lee.

English Translation-

The Prophet(ﷺ) said:- Whoever awakes at night and then says -

None has the right to be worshipped except Allaah, alone, without any partner, to Him belong sovereignty and praise and He is over all things wholly capable. How perfect Allaah is, and all praise is for Allaah, and none has the right to be worshipped except Allaah, Allaah is the greatest and there is no power nor might except with Allaah, The Most High, The Supreme, O my Lord forgive me.

Whoever says this will be forgiven, and if he supplicates Allah, his prayer will be answered; if he performs ablution and prays, his prayer will be accepted.

4.Surah Al-Imran , verse 190 191... 200

From verse 190

Inna fee khalqis-samaawaati wal'ardhi wakhtilaafil-layli wannahaari la'aayaatil-li 'oolil-'albaab.

till the end of the chapter 3 Al-Imran verse 200.

And Allah is the best of knower.
